Heather Parlee resides in a rural Connecticut town where she creates, works, and teaches dance.  She attended Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and graduated in 2014 with a BA in Studio Art with a Concentration in Painting and a Minor in Art History.  Having been trained in dance since the age of 3, her strong and prominent dance background plays a very influential role in her creative process and artmaking technique, which can been seen through her free flowing and passionate brush strokes.  She was an active and influential member of Clark University's student run dance group, Hip Hop Collabo, from which she draws constant inspiration from for her paintings and choroegraphy. 

A strong and expressive individual, she continues to emit passion and pride in everything she does.
